StarShip involves players in a virtual universe, where they are able to manage a StarShip, and evolve its capabilities. At the start, the starship will just have basic capabilities, but as the player gains experience and funds, he can improve some of the systems on the ship. These systems are represented by NFTs of the improved components and can be acquired by the user. These StarShips are launched from Space Stations, which are massive space doors capable of hosting thousands of ships. The Kyanite gas, a critical resource and payment token in the StarShip universe, is at the heart of these activities and players will travel through space collecting Kyanite gas, to trade it or use it to improve their ships. Technically, the game is built on top of the WAX blockchain, which is purpose-built to host applications of this type and can handle more than 15 million operations per day without issue. This ensures that transaction fees for purchasing or trading NFT game assets remain low, making the game more accessible to a wider range of players. For its Ignition phase, the game has already raised over a million dollars in NFT sales. In the form of trading cards, these NFTs depict the various elements that a ship requires to launch (in the style of Magic: the Gathering and other similar franchises).
