| KuCoin Is Back After a hacking attack on the 26th of September that left KuCoin $280 million worth of cryptocurrencies short, the exchange is back for business. KuCoin has resumed its deposit and withdrawal services for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Ethereum-based Tether (USDT) after disabling it due to the hack. Before resuming the services, KuCoin performed a wallet security strategy upgrade for the corresponding coins as well as to generate new deposit addresses for BTC, ETH, and USDT. Users can still access the old addresses but are recommended to update their deposit addresses. DeCrypt | | $26 Million in Bitcoin From Bitfinex Moved Back in 2016, more than $26 million in bitcoin was stolen by hackers from crypto exchange Bitfinex. On Wednesday, movement was detected as the bitcoin was transferred across seven transactions. Out of the seven, six transactions ranged between $4.1 million and $4.8 million with the seventh transaction only coming up to $12,000. The transactions are also the first of their kind since the ones in August which resulted in Bitfinex pledging to give out rewards to efforts leading to the recovery of the stolen funds.
