Crypto has blown up to the point of becoming a household name and widely accessible for those with an internet connection. With these feats comes a hidden truth – we've all been duped, and instead of gaining monetary sovereignty, it's now easier than ever for authorities and individuals to have complete surveillance over the majority of crypto networks, as transactional privacy becomes something of the past. Most people are aware of Elliptic and CipherTrace, however, there are more than 20 different chain analysis companies, working closely with governments, law enforcement and other financial incumbents. Operating in a space where Ponzi schemes and financial crimes are rampant, the trend makes sense, but the need for private transactions (without having to use third party mixers) has never been higher; it will take a coordinated effort from the users to make this a reality.
