Also, do join our Meetup tommorow! it's really happening!

    Hello Geckos,

What is one benefit of holding your coins in a custodial crypto bank wallet provider? You're likely be stopped from doing silly things.

Coinbase has claimed to prevent over 1,000 customers from sending $280,000 worth of bitcoin to the famous Twitter Hacker's address.

While we all love to argue "not your keys, not your coins" and the point of cryptocurrency being able to make transactions without being stopped by third parties. In this case, isn't that a good thing? Let me know your thoughts!

On the other hand, CZ Binance just called it: "ALT SZN Officially Confirmed!" In a recent interview, he also emphasized on Bitcoin's increased stability, even joking that it has become a stablecoin now. (lol)

This edition of The CoinGecko Newsleter will focus on Grayscale officially trading crypto, a robo-advisor for DeFi, and (posibly?) a sign of Derivatives slowing down.

    Enjoy!

Both Trusts will be available on OTC markets under "BCHG" for Bitcoin Cash and "LTCN" for Litecoin.

Buying these shares allows traders to invest in crypto without having to hold the underlying asset.

    Validator

In contrast to mining on a Proof of Work blockchain network, Proof of Stake blockchain networks are secured by a distributed consensus of dedicated validators who have staked (locked into the network) a significant amount of token as long as the validator nodes are running.

Validators are queued for block-signing based on a combination of random selection, amount (weight) staked and length of time staked (age) and others depending on the design of the consensus algorithm.
