Voting for the gate.io listing competition starts at 4 AM UTC on June 23rd, this is less than nine hours away! The voting window will last for 24 hours, and the project with the most votes will be listed on gate.io.  During the most recent board meeting, the Kin Foundation officially approved a migration to Solana, with 98.6% of the active app developers in favor of the move. Along with these two updates, the Solana Foundation released its first transparency report, addressing a majority of the ambiguities around the SOL token and unlock schedule. Gate.io Listing Competition The Solana Foundation is proud to announce that the SOL token is featured in the upcoming Gate.io listing competition. The voting competition will start on Tuesday, June 23rd at 4 AM UTC and last 24 hours. $75,000 USD (~◎125,000) will be allocated for Solana voters between a voting reward airdrop and an educational campaign. The rules for the voting competition are:  1. Log into your Gate account 2. Hold or acquire Gatechain Token (GT). The number of votes you can have equals the average 14-day GT holding. The user's votes will be calculated based on the average 14-day GT holding within two hours after the listing vote. *Be sure to not make any changes to your GT holding before votes are counted. 3. Visit Gate.io and vote for Solana (SOL)   Learn More And Vote Kin Foundation Board Vote On May 22, 2020, Kik Interactive Inc. put forth a proposal to the Kin Ecosystem recommending a migration from the Kin Blockchain to the Solana Blockchain. This migration proposal was in response to the continued growth of the Kin Ecosystem that now has over 3 million Monthly Active Spenders. The Kin Foundation held its monthly board meeting on June 15 and voted to accept the Solana grant proposal. The Validatrar Node Operators voted 11-0 in favor of the transition, while the Active App Developers voted 19-2 in favor of the migration. This means that Solana will see all of Kins 3M (and growing) monthly active users join the network.
