| Hello Readers!
As you are aware, we have been asking a couple of question for your opinions on certain hot issues blazing the crypto space. Earlier this week, we wanted to get your opinion on JK Rowling's Bitcoin adventure. Here's some interesting info we get from you lovely people: - "(from 1 - 10) How likely would mainstream folks understand Bitcoin as it is now?"
80% give a rating of 5 and below, it's quite clear that Bitcoin as it is now is hard to break down to the "normies". Will we ever see the day when Bitcoin is as ubiquitous as the internet?
- For the question "Would you rather own 1 Bitcoin or the entire Harry Potter Book Series signed by JK Rowling?" 20% of you actually preferred the book series over 1 Bitcoin. Seriously?! π€ (Editor: unless you can sell the books for more than 1 btc, then that may be a big-brain move.)
- Some of you have absolutely wild answers for "How would you explain Bitcoin so that J.K Rowling can understand it?"
- Don't worry, you own sufficient fiat not to care - I wouldn't try. (about 10 of you wrote something similar) - If I owned a signed Harry Potter Book Series, I would sell it and buy Bitcoin. - RTFM (Editor: Woah, chill bro)
2 of you even wrote in a 400 word paragraph, ain't nobody got time for that!!!
Do you like the surveys we made so far? we hope you have fun answering them too!
Today we'll talk about an African Bitcoin Story, a huge Bitcoin SV block, and yet another dramatic twist in the Steem Saga.
Enjoy the next 3 minutes and 25 seconds!

| Steem network to seize 23.6 Million Steem from users
An upcoming Steem (STEEM) hardfork will seize the accounts and funds of former Steemit witnesses and stakeholders. The funds seized totaled close to $7 million USD at the time of writing. According to one of the Steemit witness who support the hardfork, the seizures are directed to those who "pose a direct threat to the Steem blockchain"Ethereum's Vitalik Buterin also chimed in on the issue, stating: "Shouldn't every steem user just be moving to hive (HIVE) at this point?" which started a heated debate of its own. (Editor: The whole idea of blockchain and cryptocurrency is self-sovereignty of wealth and ownership, this act goes very much against the very ethos that built this industry)

| | Monster 369MB Block Processed on Bitcoin SV

Jerry Chan, CEO of TAAL said the block was the result of a contest designed to test the transaction capabilities of the network. (Editor: 369MB is obviously huge for a blockchain, But Can it Run Crysis?)
| | Fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD)
FUD refers to fear, uncertainty and doubt. It refers to the movement to influence perception of certain cryptocurrencies or the cryptocurrency market in general by spreading negative, misleading or false information.
FUD is not unique to the cryptocurrency markets - it exists in traditional markets as well where unscrupulous players release negative or false news to drive fear and uncertainty in the market in order to profit from it.
| | "Give me liberty or Give me death"
The news of Steem's account and fund seizure has come to some as a shock, not expecting a decentralized blockchain network can seize the entire holdings from wallet address.
Despite this, Steem is one of the best performing crypto asset of today, gaining more than +25% in the past 24 hours despite such a controversial news surrounding it.
While the early adopters of the crypto space are no doubt powered by the belief that no 3rd party should have control over one's wealth, the market has seemed to signal that this is no longer an important ethics to have in regards to crypto.
Do you think in line with the market? or are you equally bemused at this news?
Question: On the scale below, how important is self-sovereignty when it comes to owning crypto for you? (should crypto be confiscated from a person for whatsoever reason?)
