Coming Up with the FCFL On Friday, we were joined in the office by Ramon Vullings and The Atlantic. We can't tell you what's coming of this just yet, but as always, we can promise that Co-Founder and Chief Gaming Officer, Patrick Dees, spoke with his hands a lot. Check out some behind-the-scenes shots below! Make Your Voice Heard In case you haven't heard, this is the FAN Controlled Football League - meaning you have the opportunity to make your voice heard in our league votes. Team name submissions are still open, so be sure to submit your best names before time runs out! You should have a message from the one and only Ray Austin waiting to be read. The Virtual Front Office Don't forget, it's not too late for you to pre-register for the Virtual Front Office so that you are kept in the loop about all sorts of great insider opportunities. In need of some FCFL gear? You're in luck! Check out our online store for all your FCFL t-shirt, hoodie, cap, and other needs. What's News with the FCFL To absolutely nobody's surprise, LaVar Ball is *pretty* salty over the Lakers trading away his son, Lonzo, more players and three first-round draft picks just to get Anthony Davis on the same team as LeBron James. We take a look at his reaction to the news, including some epic photos and videos fans captured of him, here. We also guess how the fans would feel if Lonzo were like this with one of the players in our league - you probably know where we're going with this. Earlier today a lot of Brett Favre fans were left heartbroken after a fake post was made on his Instagram account, announcing his return to the field. Read more about why we don't feel entirely bad for people who fell for the hoax and who we think the fans would like to see make a comeback. Over the weekend we spent too many hours watching the Fortnite Pro-Am, a tournament that pairs the best Fortnite streamers with your favorite athletes and entertainers! This year, we got to see Team Owner | Fan Captain Marshawn Lynch team up with Ninja to take on other athletes like JuJu Smith-Schuster, Blake Martinez, and Kenneth Faried. While this wasn't Marshawn's year, we can't wait to see him dominate over his competition next year! Last week we got you ready for the FIFA Women's World Cup with all the game times for the USWNT and we bet you're glad we did - they CRUSHED their first game against Thailand and went on to defeat Chile on Sunday! Before they move on to their next group play game, read why we think they celebrated the perfect amount in their 13-0 win over Thailand, despite what some trolls on the internet seemed to think. Last week we got to see not one, not two, but THREE ejections in the Texas Rangers - Boston Red Sox game! We normally don't see too many in the same game, so clearly we got a little excited. In our most recent FAN Take, we ask the fans what they think should constitute an ejection in the FCFL. Be sure to share your thoughts! Don't miss daily updates on our social channels: follow us wherever you prefer: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or Twitch! Did You Know? Did You Know π€ We've been referred to quite a few times as the real-life version of Madden. It's only fitting that one of our Team Owners | Fan Captains, Marshawn Lynch, competed this weekend in the Fortnite Pro-Am! Congratulations to all the pro athletes that crushed it over the weekend! Don't miss daily updates on our social channels: follow us wherever you prefer: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, or Twitch! We Want Your Input! People frequently ask us: do you really want fan input on how to run the league? Our answer is an unequivocal: YES! Not only will fans be driving all football-related decisions once the games are being played on the field, but we want fans to play an integral role in how we structure our league operations. If there is anything you think the FCFL community should know, join our Facebook Page and share. Or DM us on Twitter. And, as always, if you have questions, feel free to reach out to team@fanchi.se. Have a great week! The FCFL Team @FCFLIO #PowerToTheFan |
