    US Copyright Office Says It Does Not 'Recognize' Craig Wright as Satoshi

    The US Copyright US issued a press release to dispel the notion that it recognizes Craig Wright as the creator of the Bitcoin (BTC) Protocol.

    "The Copyright Office does not investigate the truth of any statement made,"

    This is after a widely circulated press release suggested that the US government accepted Wright as Satoshi.

    Dutch Authorities seize crypto-mixing service Bestmixer.io

    The Dutch Fiscal Information and Investigation Service in cooperation with Europol and Luxembourg authorities have seized and closed down Bestmixer.io, a crypto mixer service.

    Coin mixers or "tumblers" work by pooling funds together and creating a web of new transactions in an effort to obfuscate their original source.

    Services like Bestmixer.io, however, relies on centralized, custodial mixing service.

    Dash Core Group has released a new upgrade to the Dash (DASH) Mainnet that aims to combat 51% attacks.

    A 51% attack is when a single party obtains over half of the total mining power on a cryptocurrency network and potentially manipulate the blockchain.

    The upgrade features Long Living Masternode Quorums (LLMQs) and LLMQ-ChainLocks, which makes 51% attacks harder to execute.
