This technological step forward has been in the works for some time now after many supporters of similar technology point to its success in rugby, cricket, tennis, and the NFL. This technology will allow referees to refer "game changing situations" such as goals, penalties, red cards and mistaken identity to a video referee who can help. While some believe this will slow the pace of the game, others rightfully note that it will improve the integrity of the game and ultimately allow officials to make more accurate decisions. Would VAR be smart to have in the FCFL? Tozuda has created an easy and affordable device used to detect head injuries in contact sports. Each device attaches to the back of a player's helmet and when activated, the device indicates when a player has likely suffered a head injury. This device does not rely on the use of electronics and keeps players, coaches, and bystanders accountable when the Tozuda device senses injury. Could this be the solution to head injuries in football and other contact sports? The world's largest brewing company, Anheuser-Busch InBev is using blockchain technology in digital advertising campaigns. Anheuser-Busch has launched its first ad campaigns through the Kiip mobile marketing app, which uses ethereum's blockchain to record and track data. The data tracked gives Anheuser-Busch an in-depth look at ad engagements, impressions, and price ultimately allowing them to only pay for ads that meet their criteria. Who do you think will be the next corporate giant to experiment with blockchain technology?
