The Hits Keep Coming PBS's Cronkite News mentioned the FCFL in its examination of how indoor football opportunities help college football alumni keep their NFL dreams alive. We are often asked: where will you get your players? Well, according to this article, only 1.5 % of college football players are drafted into the NFL. That leaves 98.5% who are prospects for the Fan Controlled Football League! Not to mention, unique talents from overseasβ¦and maybe even Canada?!? Meanwhile, Sohrob was in New York, presenting at the Proskauer | UBS 3rd Annual TMT Summit and the Global 50 Summit.  This week, the team hits Consensus, in the Big Apple. And, next week both Sohrob and Patrick will be featured on panels at Digital Hollywood in Los Angeles. As Seen on the FAN Token Blog On Monday, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of opening up the option to legalize sports betting to all 50 U.S. States. We examined what the sports betting landscape might look like for the FCFL and other professional sports leagues. Check it out, here! Of course, we are talking about the blockchain landscape and the significant growth it has seen in the past year. Amazon's cloud computing company, Amazon Web Services has partnered with blockchain incubator ConsenSys to create a blockchain cloud service called Kaleido. Announced at the Consensus 2018 conference in New York, Kaleido aims to allow Amazon Web Service customers to explore blockchain without being experts in the space. Twitch continues to move into live sports by partnering with 24/7 streaming sports channel Stadium. Stadium adds over 250 live games and events to the Twitch service including college football, men's basketball and Olympic sports from top college conferences including Conference USA, Mountain West Conference, Patriot League and West Coast Conference. Stadium will also live stream weekly American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL) games and, on Wednesday evenings, feature Ring of Honor matches. The Supreme Court rules 6-3 in favor of striking down a federal law that prohibited states to allow sports betting. With this ruling, states are free to access the estimated $150 billion in previously illegal sports wagers that Americans make every year. Many people believe that legal sports betting was inevitable and we are seeing the first steps come to life!
