If you've been following the development of the FCFL for awhile, you've probably noticed that lately we've been talking more and more about the FAN (Fan Access Network) Token. We thought it was about time we gathered up all you need to know about the FAN Token in one place: the new www.fantoken.network. Last Friday, the FCFL's Head of Football Experience Jason Chilton took part in a panel called "Live Action Video Sports: A Real World Comeback" at the SXSW Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas. The panel was moderated by Jen Booton from SportTechie and also featured a couple of guys who are doing very cool stuff in the drone space, Marty Wetherall of Hydra FPV and Josh Ingram of Flynoceros. As we mentioned above this week, most of the team is attending the NFLPA Former Players' Convention where, in addition to tonight's AMA, Ray spoke to a room full of over 500 former NFL players this morning about life after the NFL and got them excited about FAN Token and the FCFL. FCFL CEO Sohrob Farudi continues his personal world tour this week with a trip to Puerto Rico for d10e Conference on Wednesday, March 14th where he'll once again be sharing the excitement of FAN Token with some of the biggest names in the crypto space as well as for Puerto Crypto on March 15th. Notable News The intersection between cryptocurrency and the sports world is growing by the day. Dallas Mavericks owner and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban is investing in the crypto space through crypto-VC fund 1confirmation, and he's announced that the Mavericks will accept bitcoin and ether for ticket purchases as early as next season. Mark isn't alone - US Olympian and short track speedskating legend Apollo Ohno is a co-founder of crypto investment fund Quantum Block Capital and is also co-founding the ICO of HybridBlock, an all-in-one cryptocurrency trading ecosystem.
